VTLS Inc has announced that Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL) has become the first customer subscriber to the Virtua Cloud in Malaysia. The three-year subscription package includes the Virtua ILS and Chamo Social OPAC hosted on a locally managed cloud, with all system management services provided by the VTLS office in Malaysia. MCKL’s Tan Sri Runme Shaw Library has a collection of more than 11,000 books, CDs, DVDs and periodicals.
MCKL is the 68 VTLS customer in Malaysia. "We welcome MCKL to the growing community of VTLS Users and look forward to providing our services and support.” said Gina Phan, Managing Director of VTLS Technologies Sdn. Bhd. “Many libraries have been asking for a solution like Virtua Cloud so that the library staff can focus on the core business of a library instead of diverting valuable resources to system management. With the introduction of this solution, we can help our customers in improving services without the need for high capital investment.”
