BJP's crisis, courtesy Yeddyurappa

Rohit Dhyani: Nine ministers, all loyal to former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa, have given their resignations to chief minister Sadananda Gowda, who Mr Yeddyurappa wants out. Mr Gowda is yet to accept the resignations. Mr Yeddyurappra was forced to quit as chief minister last year after a report by the state's ombudsman indicted him for corruption. Mr Yeddyurappa, who claims to have the support of 70 MLAs (more than half of the BJP's total strength in the Assembly) now wants another leader from his Lingayat community to be made chief minister.
