| Former Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has filed his nomination papers for the Presidential elections. Mr Mukherjee, who is the presidential candidate of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA), was accompanied by Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Rahul Gandhi as he signed the nomination papers. The election is on July 19. Results will be declared on July 22. | ||
