Rohit Dhyani:Oil companies today hiked the price of petrol by Rs. 2 a litre, without taxes, while the price of diesel was kept unchanged. The revised prices will take effect from midnight tonight. The hike comes after the price of petrol was raised by 75 paise a litre on May 31. After the revision, petrol prices in four major cities stand as follows: Delhi- 66.39 per litre; Kolkata- Rs. 73.79; Mumbai- Rs. 74.60; Chennai- Rs. 69.39.
