Puma goes Green for this IPL T20 - 2013

Puma, the sports lifestyle brand, has always been closely associated with sports events around the world, and with the success of the Indian Premier League they are seeking involvement in this popular league of the shorter format of T20 cricket.

The brand has launched cricket products, the 2013 T20 Range. Among various products launched, it is the green Puma shoes for cricketers this IPL that have received wide attention. Various cricketers were seen wearing colourful shoes in the last edition of the IPL, but Puma has gone green this time.

Well-known cricketers such as Yuvraj Singh, Manoj Tiwari, Brendon McCullum, Adam Gilchrist, Aaron Finch, Andre Russell, Marlon Samuels and Abhimanyu Mithun would be seen wearing these shoes for IPL 2013. Some team members of Sunrisers Hyderabad will also be donning Puma's shoe gear during the sixth edition of the IPL.

Apparently, the shoes are very comfortable for cricketers, as they are lightweight with a good soft cushioning along with some good design as well. Puma has always stood out when it comes to comfort along with its fashionable designs.

Rajiv Mehta, MD, PUMA India said, “A vibrant green catches the eye of the viewer. Keeping in mind that green gives a sense of order and balance, PUMA introduced the Green ‘2013 T20 range’ this season. PUMA is also pleased to be associated with Sunrisers Hyderabad. These specialized products are designed for cricketers to allow them freedom and flexibility. We wish Sunrisers Hyderabad all the best and hope for their victory! ” Some players of the Sunrisers were seen in their green Speed Cricket Spike (shoes) when they played their first game of the IPL yesterday at Hyderabad.

The 2013 T20 range will not only include Puma shoes but also various other cricket-playing gear such as Pulse 5000 Bat, Pulse 6000 batting pad, Pulse 4700 batting glove, Pulse 5000 wicket keeping glove and Pulse 5000 wicket keeping pad.
