After parties in Tamil Nadu protest, Sri Lankan Air Force trainees to be sent back

Rohit Dhyani: A day after major political parties in Tamil Nadu strongly objected to Sri Lankan Air Force personnel being trained in Chennai, the government has decided to send back all the nine trainees.
The jawans had arrived recently at the Tambaram Air Force station in Chennai for a nine-month training period.
Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had on Thursday condemned the training of the jawans, dubbing it as "anti-Tamil". "It's inappropriate when countries are demanding action against Lanka for violations during the war," Ms Jayalalithaa had said.
