Indian Overseas Minister Vayalar Ravi in 18th ‘Know India Programme’

Rohit Dhyani: Vayalar Ravi Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs meets overseas participants at Know India Programme(KIP) for Diaspora youths.



In a grand event held at Ashoka Bhavan,New Delhi, Valayar Ravi ,Hon’ble Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs met with the participants of ‘Know India Programme’.They were in the age group of 18-26yrs from 6 countries  namely : Australia, Fiji, South Africa, Suriname, Trinidad, Tobago and Malaysia. It is a three-week orientation programme for diaspora youths conducted with a view to introduce India to them and promote awareness on different facets of Indian life and the progress made by the country in various fields.


On the occasion, Hon’ble Minister stated that this programme provides a unique forum for students and young professionals of Indian origin to visit India. He also highlighted the role of the Ministry in linking ‘Youth Diaspora’ with their origin country.
